BLUEHIGHWAYS TV TO DEBUT ON AKIMBO INTERNET-TO-TV VOD SERVICE
Backroads American Culture and Roots Music Offered to Akimbo Subscribers

Hendersonville, TN - BlueHighways TV, a network created to explore the people, stories, traditions and cultures of America announced today that BlueHighways TV programming will debut on Akimbo TM Systems' Internet-to-TV Video-On-Demand service in January, 2006. Akimbo Service subscribers will have access to BlueHighways TV's original video library of programs that feature unique roots music, western lifestyle, Native American and children's series, along with arts and festival-based documentaries.  Akimbo is the first company to deliver a digital-quality video-on-demand service to any television via a broadband-Internet connection and offers thousands of titles across 85 categories.

BlueHighways TV (BHTV) provides a chance for viewers to take an "armchair" trip across America, getting off the busy interstates and taking time to explore the country's people, sights and sounds. BHTV will offer Akimbo subscribers the opportunity to see the roots music stars of bluegrass, blues, folk, gospel and classic country perform in unique locations throughout the country, as well as a number of BlueHighways TV's original programming series.  Viewers can take a ride through the beautiful west in Due West, watch The Red Road to experience Native American culture, and see fascinating documentaries such as Artists of Santa Fe and In Praise of the Family Farm.  BlueHighways TV will also offer children's shows, including Janet's Planet and the ageless, entertaining yarns of Storyteller's Theater.

"BlueHighways TV is a perfect example of the type of content we look to bring to Akimbo's audience.  With the dramatic growth of interest in regional American culture and music, consumers are seeking out sources of high-quality programming that are often difficult to find on television," said Joshua Goldman, CEO of Akimbo Systems.  "Now that BlueHighways' exceptional library is becoming available on Akimbo, people will be able to easily locate and watch their favorite artists, concerts and shows whenever they want."

"Akimbo provides a unique opportunity to BlueHighways TV fans to have immediate access to all our titles at their convenience," said Stan Hitchcock, Chairman and CEO of BlueHighways TV. "We're delighted to be extending our reach through this innovative technology."

The Akimbo Service offers over 6,000 programs, stored on the Internet and available for download to any television.  More than 150 new programs are added each week.  Akimbo has partnered with more than 150 mainstream and niche content owners to offer a wide variety of video like independent films, condensed Major League Baseball games, extreme sports, video blogs, music videos, children's serials and home improvement shows.

Programming from BlueHighways TV is expected to be available on Akimbo in January, 2006.  A subscription to the on-demand Akimbo Service is $9.99 a month. A high speed broadband internet connection and either an Akimbo Player or Microsoft XP Media Center 2005-enabled PC are required to use the service.  To subscribe to Akimbo, and for more information about what's on Akimbo, please visit www.akimbo.com.
